Itinerary

1st Day - (Saturday 2nd December) : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station to Shillong - Transfer

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong, which is also called the 'Scotland of the East". On the way visit the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay at Shillong.

2nd Day - (Sunday 3rd December) : Shillong to Cherrapunjee - Excursion

Approx Distance: 60 Km • Est. Travel Time: 2 hours

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. Visit Eco Park, you will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls. Overnight stay at Shillong.

3rd Day - (Monday 4th December) : Shillong to Mawlynnong and Dawki - Excursion

Approx Distance: 120 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4 hours

After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

4th Day - (Tuesday 5th December) : Shillong to Guwahati - Sightseeing and Transfer

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours

After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed) & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at your hotel. In evening we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (Direct Payment by own). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

5th Day - (Wednesday 6th December) : Guwahati Hotel to Guwahati Airport / Rly Station - Transfer

After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes: Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark). Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: Temple visit will depend on your departure time. It May be done on previous day.

Note:

·         Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, heavy snow fall, road blockage, political disturbances, etc. (To be borne by the client, this is directly payable on the spot).

·         We are not responsible if any sightseeing point missed out due to any delay of guest or any unforced incident like road blockage, heavy rainfall, snow fall, landslide or earlier darkness.

·         Due to remote location and limited options in Cherrapunjee and Arunachal sector we use properties as per their service. Mostly properties are not categorised as 3 /4 *. One cannot compare the properties with that of Shillong / Guwahati.

·         Please note that for 24th, 25th, and 31st December the Hotel may charge mandatory Gala Dinner Supplement, which has to be pre-paid before the tour starts. The hotels may decide and declare about their Mandatory Gala Dinner at a later stage as well, even after confirmation. Hence please put a note of this and inform the traveller about the same.

·         Above package rates will not valid for the periods of X-mass, New Year, and Holi & Long Weekends.

About Vehicle:

·         We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.

·         We use A/c Dzire for 1-3 Pax. Please note Ac will not operate in high hill area.

·         We use A/c Innova / Ertiga Similar upto 5 Pax. Please note Ac will not operate in high hill area.

·         We use A/c Tempo traveller for more than 5 pax. Please note Ac will not operate in high hill area.

·         Luggage carrier is not allowed in the vehicle

About Transfers:

·         Maximum 05 guests are allowed in Innova, including children above 4 years.

·         If the number of guests are more than the vehicles capacity (as mentioned above) booked in the tour, the guest will have to take additional vehicle at an extra cost.

·         In unavoidable circumstances the guest may have to stay back at Guwahati at an additional cost.

·         Keeping in mind the road condition of any hilly region, the guest should decide upon themselves (with their train and flight timings) as to when they should start the departure transfer. We suggest a buffer time of 2 hours at least.

About Hotel:

·         Check-in & Check-out time 13:00 hrs & Check-out time will be 11:00 hrs.

·         Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains to base category of rooms.

·         A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.

·         For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll away bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.

·         Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising with any services.

Important Facts for Travellers:

·         Please carry original ID proof (Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License.) for security purpose & hotel policy.

·         We need following for process your booking Guest Name & Contact Number. Naming List with gender & age.

·         High season surcharge will be applicable for every booking of 20th Dec to 5th Jan during X-Mass and New Year & also during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Holi (as per date).

·         The tourism infrastructure in Seven Sister are not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations there is always scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis morning & evening.

·         The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.

·         As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Seven Sister region guest may have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.

·         Please maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive.

·         Room Heater available with an extra cost to be borne by the guest directly (Except at Premium & Luxury Packages).

·         Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear it with candle light.

·         Basic personal items to be carried include, feather jacket & heavy woolens during winter and light woolens during summer, walking boots, Umbrella or rain proof jacket during monsoon, spare batteries, water flask, cold cream, personal medicines & Sunglasses.

·         Advice guest to bring heavy woolens if traveling to Meghalaya as this area is cold throughout the year.

Booking Procedure:

Please provide the following to provide you the quote. 

1.    Itinerary name & number

2.    Clients name and contact number

3.    Exact number of passengers travelling with the breakup of number of Adults & Room required, Extra Person sharing the room (EPSR), Child with Bed (CWB), Child with No Bed (CNB) & Infant.

4.    Arrival & departure date with train /flight details.

5.    Necessary photo id proofs and photographs to process permits (ILP) as per rule.

6.    Our Operations division will get back to you with your booking reference no (File number) along with confirmations with the payment details within 12hrs. In case you do not hear from us within 12hrs, please re-send the query once again.

Payment Policy:

1.    We request you to deposit Rs 15,000 as an advance deposit to process to confirm the booking. For high season booking, 50% payment must be done in the time of confirmation & rest of the amount must be cleared 30 days before of the tour start date.

2.    Balance Payment has to be made in advance and must be paid as per time limit given at the time of confirmation.

Amendment Rules:

Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made on the payment of a communication charge Rs. 2000 along with hotel charges if any, which will vary from case to case.

Refund Rules:

Refund will be paid to the source through which the guest has booked. Any refund will take at least 15 days to process & will be sent to you by Bank Transfer. 5% Service charge will be applicable for all refunds. ** NO REFUND WILL BE MADE AGAINST ANY UN UTILIZED SERVICES, WHAT SO EVER MAY BE THE REASON.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation has to be sent to us by Email only.

·         From Date of booking 30 days only communication charges of Rs. 2000.00 per person or 5% of total amount + 18% GST whichever is lower.

·         30 -15 Days prior to departure 35% of tour cost

·         14 -07 Days prior to departure 50% of tour cost

·         07- 03 Days prior to departure 75% of tour cost

·         03 Days/No show 100% of tour cost

Above are the cancellation rules but we will put our best possible effort to minimize the cancellation charges. In high season, no refund will be applicable within 30 days of the tours start date. (Normal cancellation policy will not applicable on those dates.)
