Day 1 – Birding at Tirupati
- Arrive at Tirupati, check in hotel and in the evening, do Birding with a Birding guide at ISER Tirupati, Mangalam Campus / Park. 3 to 6 pm session
Day 2 - Birding at Mamandur Forest
- Start from Tirupati around 6 AM to return to Tirupati around 3 PM. Evening rest or guests can explore on their own.
Kenneth Anderson is a big game hunter who built a house in 1920 that is now forest guest house. The last sighting of the Asiatic Cheetah is recorded from Mamanduru Forest. Mamanduru boasts unique fauna like slender loris the golden geko(reptile)which are found only in these hills. In Seshachalam hills, an astounding variety of Fauna and Flora abound in the dense forests surrounding this Holy Shrine. Secret Canyons, perennial springs, cascading waterfalls, centuries old tall tress, caves, prehistoric rock paintings are located off the beaten track and are reachable only by Trekking under the canopy of dense jungle on footpaths known only to the local tribal and the experienced Trekkers. It has composer Annamacharya walked on this path for a darshan of Lord Balaji. There is a trek route to Mamanduru.
Day 3 - Birding at Talakona forest around waterfalls
- Start from Tirupati around 6 AM to return to Tirupati around 3 PM. Evening rest or guests can explore on their own or leave for Chennai with loads of birding photos and fine memories.
